A reminder that this Sunday (8/22) will be a club “clean-up” day (starting at noon – feel free to start earlier). We hope to get the field cleaned up, and some of the equipment moved around to their more permanent positions (like freq board). Here’s a list of the projects that are on the docket.
Finish painting the shelter (grey – Bill will pickup paint that matches what he already put on).
Remove all the junk from behind the shelter and the barn
Trim the weeds around the shelter/fences
Move the freq board into the shelter
Put up the solar panel
Put up new wind sock
Establish north end flight boundary flag
If anyone cares to lend a helping hand and fly afterwards by all means your help is welcome. :)
