The Indianapolis Admirals RC Ship and Boat club is open to all. We meet monthly, usually at the Nora Public Library on the second Thursday of the month. We build and operate steam, electric, and wind powered vessels which include: ships of all types, boats, submarines, AMYA yachts (US One Meter & V-32) for sailing competition, Supervee 27 and Mini Rio electric racers and more! We number in excess of 50 members these days ranging in age from 8 to 78. We would like to welcome you anytime at our events and meetings. We offer the chance for you to operate one of our Midwest Liberty Tug models on the water at most of our scale events to see if you like the hobby! See the URL below for our newsletter, full club information and our schedule.

The Admirals is a very enthusiastic club. I've been a R/C airplane guy for many years, but I really have enjoyed the guys in the Admirals since I joined a few years ago. Fun events, great modelers and they are in to all types of R/C boats. Fast Electric, sailing, scale and submarines.

I hope to make it as a new member next week.
Mostly RC Sailplane, yet looking forward to the r/c sailboat world as a laid back casual manner.

Jared,
You're in for a surprise when you compete with our RC sailing skippers....they're tough competitors!
All kidding aside, we look forward to seeing you next Thursday at the Nora Library meeting room just inside the main entrance door.
What part of SoCal did you move from? I had 10 years in the San Diego area while in the service.

Hi,
Last from Lakewood near Long Beach. But born in Newport Beach and raised and lived in Costa Mesa most of my life the move to Lakewood ten years past.

At this point, just get and build a V-32 and have some relaxing fun now and then, along with a few local contest in class.

Hi Jared,

I know the area after a couple of shipyard overhauls at the Long Beach Naval Shipyard.

Our club Commander, Gene Wisner may well have a surprise you'll benefit from at the meeting next Thursday. I look forward to seeing you there!

Would love to see you guys do some more organized racing with bigger Fast Electrics. Have a UL-1 that goes around in circles. Would like to mix it up with some organized racing if possible
