Interesting development coming out of China. This may be old news to most of you, but it was the first I had heard of these non-Futaba receivers. If nothing else, this could indicate some competition for Futaba and if they are reliable some price pressure.

I am wondering what you guys think about your 3g units so far? I know that there is a good handfull of you 3g guys. Is it worth the extra money? I know it is known to be good for big air, is it good for tighter 3d? Did you really see longer fight times and more power? Likes and dislikes would really like to hear.

Field Clean Up and Fly Day |

A reminder that this Sunday (8/22) will be a club “clean-up” day (starting at noon – feel free to start earlier). We hope to get the field cleaned up, and some of the equipment moved around to their more permanent positions (like freq board). Here’s a list of the projects that are on the docket.
Finish painting the shelter (grey – Bill will pickup paint that matches what he already put on).
